The founder and owner of the Miz Gooz Berry brand, has opened a small B&B. Enjoy country hospitality, with home bakes and food from our Kaapsche Hoop oven. Join us in the quieter part of this magnificent mountain retreat.
The Nest has a French, country ambience. It sleeps two guests with percale cotton linen, cotton toweling and a corner bath. A small dining area, full Dstv, a microwave, a small fridge, Coffee, Twinings and Rooibos Teas. A separate entrance with a small verandah. Wooden table and wooden folding chairs, with an umbrella (on a stand) are on the verandah. Braai facility on request.
Breakfast served with a difference. It can be served on the main verandah (weather permitting), in The Nest or in the main house. Fresh juiced fruits/ Fresh Fruits, with a selection of the some of the following: Homemade muffins/ Quiches/ Amasi Scones, Bagels/ Croissants, Preserves, imported Italian cheeses, Smoked Meats and locally made pickles and curds. Filter coffee and Twinings / Dilmah teas.
• Dinners served on request. Booking before arrival is essential. Dinner is a three course meal. Price on request.
• Picnic baskets can be ordered for your outings. A fully equipped, picnic ruck sack is available for hire for walks.
• Food allergies and intolerances are catered for. Please inform us on booking.
• The microwave is for reheating purposes. No cooking is allowed in The Nest.
• We do not allow or cater for pets. Please note that we do have three cats of our own.
• No smoking or burning of incense is allowed in The Nest or the main house.

PAYMENT TERMS
Full payment for accommodation on confirmation of your booking. Eft payments are preferable.
Please note that we do accept credit or debit cards for additional charges at time of your visit.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES
Arrival Time: 12pm (An earlier time can be arranged. Please discuss this with Berry on confirmation of booking).
Departure Time: 10.30am
RATES
Bed & Breakfast: R780 per adult sharing per night (Continental Breakfast).
Children under 12 are R460 per child per night, babies 2 years and younger are no charge.
Minimum 2 night stay. Single night stay rates are available on request.
*Optional service: Breakfast in main house, with a hot alternative: An extra cost of R35 per head. Please book this option before arrival or at least 12 hours before required.
Specific dietary requirements are catered for at an additional cost per guest. Guests are please to inform the guesthouse when they book in order for arrangements to be made. Please note that we are not set up to cater for guests that follow a Kosher or Halaal diet.
Special rates are granted for a longer stay.
The Nest is fully serviced before arrival of guests for two day stays.
The following are serviced daily: Towels are tumbled dried and dishes are washed. Bin is emptied.
We cater for babies, by providing a camp cot, with a bassinette for the very small babies. A three wheeled pram is on offer for usage whilst on your visit.
